Peer Review

     There have been varied criticisms about my project. One of the positives was that someone mentioned that the project looked professionally made. It took me a long time to get the drawings together and I really appreciated that someone recognized those efforts. Another person mentioned that each of the characters looked very distinct from each other. The designs of the characters were designs that I had for a long time and took me a while to translate them into animation, so I am really glad that I was successful in making the designs look distinct. Also, one person mentioned the use of the music in the project; they really liked how I used the music in the big reveal at the end of the project and how it synchronizes to what is happening.

     While there were very meaningful positives, there was constructive criticism on how I could improve my project. One of these criticisms was that I need to put a little bit more context at the beginning of the project. I am working on how to do that and one person suggested to include text at beginning of the project with some creepy-looking typography, and I really liked that idea. This can also relate to another criticism which is that the project is too short. Hopefully, when I include the parts with text, it will meet the time requirement. Another comment was that the volume for one of the characters' voices, the one outlined in orange, was too low compared to the rest of the characters' voices. I will be aware of that for when I am making final edits on the project.

     I personally think that my project is good, but it is not good enough. I am aware that there are many criticisms that I need to keep in mind in order to make the project better. I think that the element that I am most aware is the time limit of my project; I need to make the project longer than one minute and twenty seconds so that the project is acceptable for Cambridge, so I will be adding more exposition to the beginning of the project.
